Saint Laurent S/S 2013

After much anticipation and an uproar over the controversial name change, Hedi Slimane finally unveiled his first women's collection for Saint Laurent Paris (formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent) on Monday. While many may have been expecting a modern collection of precision tailoring, they were instead treated to bohemian chick of the early 70's at the Chateau Marmont.
The collection featured large floppy hats with sheer, long, and flowy dresses, kaftans and chiffon cloaks. With a Palette of colors from black to nude, Slimane also brought back old time favorites like Le Smoking jacket, shirts with pussy bows, and elaborate fringes.
